Liz Cho is an American news anchor currently working for WABC-TV in New York City. She co-anchors the weekday 4 and 6 p.m. editions of Eyewitness News. Before joining WABC-TV on July 7, 2003, she held various positions in journalism, including assignment editor at New England Cable News, reporter at WPLG in Miami, and correspondent for ABC NewsOne in Chicago. She also co-anchored ABC’s overnight news program, World News Now, and served as a correspondent and fill-in anchor for Good Morning America. Born on December 19, 1970, in Concord, Massachusetts, to a Korean American surgeon father and a Jewish-American nurse mother, Cho graduated from Boston University with a degree in journalism and history. She was named one of People Magazine’s 50 Most Beautiful People in 2003.
