With the Giants, he won Super Bowl XLVI in 2012 and was selected for the Pro Bowl the same year. Known for his salsa dance touchdown celebrations, Cruz became a fan favorite. In July 2013, Cruz signed a 5-year, $45.9 million contract extension with the Giants. After being released by the Giants in February 2017 and a brief stint with the Chicago Bears, Cruz retired from the NFL in August 2018. Since retiring, he has worked as an analyst for ESPN and hosted ‘The Cost of Winning Podcast’, also appearing in television shows such as HBO’s ‘Ballers’.
