Philip Champion, also known as “Hot Sauce,” is a highly recognized American streetball player who gained fame through his participation in the AND1 Mixtape Tour. Born in Fort Campbell, Kentucky, Hot Sauce’s basketball journey led him to Imperial Valley College before he joined the AND1 tour in 2002, where his exceptional ball-handling skills and unique moves captivated audiences. The AND1 Mixtape Tour significantly influenced basketball, inspiring current NBA players. Champion played on the AND1 Tour until 2004, took a break, and returned from 2006 to 2008. Beyond streetball, he appeared in the 2006 film “Crossover.” He later played for the College Park Spyders in 2009 and the Court Kingz in 2012.
