Timothy James Thomas Jr. (born April 15, 1974) is an American former professional ice hockey goaltender. He was mainly known for playing in the National Hockey League (NHL), most notably with the Boston Bruins. Thomas played college hockey at the University of Vermont for four years. Thomas was drafted by the Quebec Nordiques in the 1994 NHL Entry Draft. Thomas played in the minor leagues and in Europe until finally signing with the Boston Bruins in 2005. The goaltender has also played for the Florida Panthers and Dallas Stars in the National Hockey League. He was won the Vezina Award twice for being the best goaltender in the league. At age 37, he won the Conn Smythe, making him the oldest player to have won such award in the history of NHL.
