Some of his signature songs include “Release Me,” “Crazy Arms,” and “Heartaches by the Number.” Price was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 1996. He managed Hank Williams’ band, The Drifting Cowboys, after Williams’ death. He died in Mount Pleasant, Texas, from pancreatic cancer.
