Ryland started his career as a freelance host for several media outlets, including web news network Clevver Media, where he later became a permanent host and producer from 2014 to 2017. Besides this, he is also applauded for hosting on AwesomenessTV, AFI, and Revolt TV. He gained more fame after he began dating YouTuber Shane Dawson in 2016. Ryland is known for his YouTube Vlogs, which often feature his personal life, collaborations with other YouTubers, and various comedic skits. In 2019, he was nominated for the Shorty Award Vlogger of the Year. He also owns a podcast named “The Sip” with co-host Lizzie Gordon. Also an actor and director, he earned much acclaim for his role in the weekly satirical sitcom, ‘#SketchTrending’, which he directed as well.
