She is widely recognized for her roles in popular television series such as ‘Two and a Half Men,’ where she played Kandi, Alan Harper’s girlfriend, and ‘Drop Dead Diva,’ where she portrayed Stacy Barrett. Bowlby’s acting career began in the early 2000s, quickly gaining recognition for both her comedic and dramatic skills. She attended Moorpark College, studying ballet, French, and marine biology before pursuing acting. Before her career in television and film, April began modeling in her late teens. Apart from her best know roles she has also appeared in several other television shows, including ‘CSI: Crime Scene Investigation’, ‘How I Met Your Mother’, and ‘The Big Bang Theory’. Most recently, Bowlby has been involved in the DC Comics-inspired series ‘Doom Patrol,’ where she plays Rita Farr.
