Stephenson was considered one of the top high school players, earning accolades such as being named to USA Today’s All-USA Boys Basketball team. He played college basketball for the Cincinnati Bearcats. In 2010, he was drafted by the Indiana Pacers as the 40th overall pick in the NBA draft. He has played for several NBA teams including the Pacers, Charlotte Hornets, Los Angeles Clippers, Memphis Grizzlies, New Orleans Pelicans, Minnesota Timberwolves, Los Angeles Lakers, and Atlanta Hawks. Known for his versatile play style, Stephenson is recognized for his scoring ability, rebounding, and playmaking. He last played for the Iowa Wolves of the NBA G League.
