Ubach was born in Downey, California, to a Mexican-born mother and a Puerto Rican father, she was exposed to a rich cultural heritage from an early age, shaping her artistic sensibilities. She began her career at a young age, making her television debut at 14 in “The Torkelsons.” She is known for her roles as Serena McGuire in the “Legally Blonde” films, Isabel Villalobos in “Meet the Fockers,” and her voice work as Mama Imelda in Disney’s “Coco,” for which she won multiple Behind the Voice Actors Awards. Ubach has also had recurring roles in television series such as “Girlfriends’ Guide to Divorce” and “Euphoria,” where she plays Suze Howard. In addition to her film and television work, Ubach is also an accomplished stage actress. She studied at the Lee Strasberg Institute and starred in Off-Broadway productions. She also wrote, directed, and starred in a one-woman show, “Patriotic Bitch.”
