Donald Adeosun Faison, born on June 22, 1974, in Harlem, New York City, is a celebrated American actor, comedian, and voice actor. He was immersed in acting from a young age as his parents were members of the National Black Theatre. Faison’s career began with a commercial for Folgers coffee and early roles in movies like ‘Juice’ and ‘Sugar Hill’. His breakthrough came with the role of Murray Duvall in the 1995 film ‘Clueless’ and the subsequent television series. Faison is best known for his role as Dr. Chris Turk in the comedy series ‘Scrubs’ (2001-2010). He has also appeared in films like ‘Remember the Titans,’ ‘Uptown Girls,’ and ‘Kick-Ass 2’. Beyond acting, Faison is also an accomplished voice actor and, in 2020, he launched the podcast ‘Fake Doctors, Real Friends’ with his ‘Scrubs’ co-star Zach Braff. In 2023, Donald paid $3.2 million for a mansion in the L.A. suburb of Tarzana.
