Patricia Ann Priest, born on August 15, 1936, is an American actress best known for her role as the second Marilyn Munster on the popular television show ‘The Munsters’ (1964-1966), stepping into the role after Beverley Owen’s departure. Born in Bountiful, Utah, to Roy and Ivy Baker Priest, her mother was the U.S. Treasurer under President Dwight D. Eisenhower. Pat grew up around politics and even served as a page girl at the 1952 Republican National Convention. Before ‘The Munsters,’ Priest worked as a singer and actress on local television and in stage productions. After ‘The Munsters,’ she continued to act in television and films, including ‘Easy Come, Easy Go’ with Elvis Presley and ‘The Incredible 2-Headed Transplant’. In later years, she retired from acting and worked in real estate, restoring and selling homes in Idaho. She has two sons from her first marriage and is currently married to Frederick Hansing. She remains a beloved figure for her contribution to classic television.
